oh, Alanna, what a terrible vacation!!! I’m so sorry this happened and relieved to hear that your husband is “resting comfortably,” as they say, at home now. Leave it to you to turn this into a teachable moment for others - we very much appreciate your “better safe than sorry” checklist and will definitely employ it in future trips.

Be sure to take care of yourself, as well! A recovery like this can be just as hard on the caregiver (I know from personal experience!).

Oh, how horrible to be hit by a car anytime but especially while traveling! Sending speedy recovery wishes. Yes your tips are good and ah so very important.

Sorry that the newsletter was such a disappointment for you. I did choose to send this newsletter to the regional and national lists. Clearly that was not a good idea.

Rhinebeck Sheep and Wool is a New England tradition, and one of the largest festivals in the U.S. Local audiences have probably gone with us on weekend and day trips to Rhinebeck, but you’re so right…. not everyone knows this.

Hope your information gathering goes well, and don’t hesitate to ask any questions you may have!

I have been collecting information so my daughter and I can select a trip for a personal celebration. Your most recent email was a great disapointment. I tried to click on a couple of descriptions to get more information to no avail!!
Also, you presume too much! Some of us need more elaborate addresses. One city you mentioned sounded foreign(something ablut sheep) and I hoped it was for Austrailia or northern Europe. Nope! I finally realised it was a ONE DAY TRIP in Vermont or someplace.
Oh well I can dream can’t I??
