Vermont June 25 to 27, 2010
THIS TOUR IS SOLD OUT!
Tour fare must be paid in full at booking.
With amazing quilts, a great roster of classes and wonderful vendors, the Vermont Quilt Festival is New England's finest quilt show. Classes offered by more than 20 teachers, two pavilions of themed quilt exhibits and oodles of vendors keep quilters coming back for more. Our group leaves the Boston area (pick ups at Rte 128 in Westwood, Arlington, Woburn & Salem, NH) bound for Burlington, VT. You'll have Friday afternoon to enjoy the quilt exhibits before the crowds arrive!
At your hotel suite, you will find a "Taste of Vermont" selection of local foods to nibble on throughout the weekend. The suites have a queen sized bed as well as a queen size sofa sleeper, kitchenette and room to set up your quilting! For Friday dinner, take the shuttle to downtown Burlington or enjoy a meal made in your own kitchenette. Others may want to pull out their sewing machines and get quilting right away!
Saturday morning, the shuttle heads out early for quilters with morning classes on time and then later for those who prefer a more leisurely start. If quilts are not your style, shuttle services can escort you to the lake cruises on Lake Champlain and downtown Burlington. Saturday mornings near the pedestrian shopping area on Church Street is bustling with action at the farmer's market. The shuttle continues through the evening.
On Sunday, enjoy one last day at the Festival or explore the Shelburne Museum and their yearly quilt exhibit. We'll be back in the Boston area around 6 pm on Sunday.
Class information and registration materials will be available at Vermont Quilt Festival's web sitein February, 2010.
